Journalist, author, and producer Vikki Tobak, photographer Brian B+ Cross, and special guests examine the fascinating world of hip-hop through the lens of the photographers who shaped the iconic album covers, t-shirts, and posters beloved by fans throughout the world. Tobak’s collectable book Contact High: A Visual History of Hip-Hop features rare ou akes from over 100 photoshoots alongside inter- views and essays from industry legends, taking readers on a chrono- logical journey from old-school to alternative hip-hop and from analog to digital photography.

Tresor Detroit - 5/25 10PM-8AM

Return to the Source 2019 is an organic evolution of the original concept, yet carefully improved. This year our weekend at the Tangent will include 4 parties for the price of one weekend wristband, with greatly improved infrastructure and party flow. Once the music starts at No Way Back on Sunday night, the music will not end until Tuesday morning — 37 hours of continuous music. A weekend wristband will allow you to experience all this with no interruptions.
