SMPLFD x Detroit City FC Merch Collaboration Announcement

SMPLFD, the Detroit-based clothing brand, and custom apparel company, has teamed up with Detroit City Football Club for their latest merchandise collaboration.

Designed by the SMPLFD team, and printed at their production facility in Detroit’s Islandview neighborhood, the limited-edition six-piece collection features streetwear-inspired wearables; including t-shirts, sweatshirts, and headwear.

“The SMPLFD brand, along with the owners, have roots in soccer.  The company was founded at a time that myself and one of my business partners, Andrew Davis, were working at a soccer retailer & uniform company,” says Justin Fishaw, SMPLFD’s Co-Founder.  “We’re lifelong soccer players and fans, so collaborating with Detroit’s professional soccer team is a great opportunity to combine a few of the things we love most: design, apparel, and soccer.”

The collection will be for sale online at detcityfc.com starting August 12th, and in-person at Keyworth Stadium on August 13th as Detroit City F.C. takes on the Oakland Roots at 7:30 pm.
